WHAT WE DO
Pierce Consulting Works LLC contracts with nonprofit boards to provide Interim Executive Director/CEO services while the board conducts the search for a permanent executive director or CEO. Our services consist of managing the staff, budgets and programs and providing advice to the board. Pierce Consultant Works LLC also provides advice on best practices, board governance and board development & training.
Pierce Consulting Works, LLC works closely with the board to help the nonprofit through the organization's period of leadership transition. While each engagement is different based upon the nonprofit's mission and operations, our responsibilities typically include managing the staff, monitoring the budget and programs, overseeing the fundraising and communications function and other duties as requested by the board. The board is then able to focus on conducting a comprehensive search for the next executive director/CEO. Pierce Consultant Works LLC typically also conducts an organization assessment that helps prepare the organization for the next executive director/CEO. Once the board hires the new executive director/CEO, Pierce Consulting Works LLC will help to onboard the new leader.
Pierce Consulting Works LLC has a network of consultants who can provide any additional special services as needed.
